Swimming is so good for weight loss!

I have been swimming for as long as I can remember and competively for eight years. I have spent many a summer on a lake and in the ocean and I can tell you from personnal experience that swimming is infact good for weight loss. One thing you have to remember though is that muscle weighs more than fat. For example during my first high school season I lost thirty pounds in fat, but gained fifthteen pounds of muscle. Even though I didn't lose that much weight I looked thinner and toner. When you're considering your "weight loss" while swimming you need to remember this. I <3 SWIMMING! AND I LOVE THE SMELL OF CHLORINE IN THE MORNING, SMELLS LIKE VICTORY!
